The output of stainless steel up by 20.82% y-o-y during January to June

According to the statistics from the Stainless Steel Council of China Special Steel Enterprises Association, the output of stainless steel was 16.243Mt during January to June, up by 20.82% y-o-y.

During January to June, the import of stainless steel was 1.4084Mt, up by 121.31% y-o-y. The imported steel billet was 625,400t, up by 159.32% y-o-y. Besides, the imported stainless steel scrap was 29,800t.

During January to June, the export of stainless steel was 2.189Mt, up by 35.72% y-o-y. The apparent consumption of stainless steel was 13.8787Mt, up by 24.20% y-o-y.
